Greetings Bearcat Fans!!

We at Hobart Public Schools are excited about the 2009 Bearcats and hope you are too. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of our plans to renovate or replace our current field house. We have an ongoing fundraiser for this project. It is our goal to raise a minimum of $200,000 for this project. We plan to raise this money completely by private donations from our supporters and fans. It is our goal to have at least 100 donors give $1000 and at least 1,000 donors give $100. A special fund has been board approved and is now accepting donations. The school will make a generous contribution to the project as well. All donors of $100 or more will be recognized on a plaque to be placed on the new/renovated structure. If you are reading this, we need your donation! We also would like to include as many HHS alumni as possible in our project. If you can inform members of your graduating class that live far away but would like to donate, please do so. We are having a competition between all past graduating classes. Donations taken between now and Homecoming week will be kept track of and the class with the greatest dollar amount of donations will be recognized at the Homecoming festivities, Friday, October 2! Send your donation soon and be sure to include your graduation year. All donations are tax decutible and we will provide any documentation you need for your tax prepartation. Donations can be made in person at the administration building at 400 N. Jefferson or by mail to Hobart Public Schools, P.O. Box 899, Hobart, OK 73651 attention Jalenda Yount. Question or comments can be directed to me by e-mail at waldr@hobart.k12.ok.us or to any member of the field house steering committee which are Roger Hill, Rod Wald, James Rudkins, David Finch and Jim Coakley. We wish to complete the project for the 2010 season so don’t delay. The quicker the money is raised the sooner we can start construction! Thank you for your support of the Hobart Bearcats and thank you in advance for your generous donations to our project!

Sincerely,

Rod Wald
