Travis Sims grew up in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He graduated from SWOSU in 1996. He taught in McAllen and Cedar Hill, Texas. Also in Stigler and Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Sims has been teaching for 24 years, 9 of which have been spent here at HHS. His wife, Karrin Sims also teaches here in Hobart High School. They have 3 children, Colton, Jaci, and Jaxon. Sims is also head coach of the boys track and assistant coach of JH Football teams and the HHS football team, and the assistant Wrestling Coach. He is also the Sophomore class sponsor.
