She will be playing in the All State Game later in the summer. Way to go Chrissy!!!!....................Congratulations to our Baseball Team for being named the 2013 Academic Champions!! ..WAY TO GO GUYS!!!...............Also Congratulations to our TRACK STATE CHAMPIONS!! Chrissy Hollister won the Gold Medal in the High Jump AND in the 300 meter hurdles All your hard work truely paid off. We are so proud of you!!,,,,,,,,, Tyrone Elix won the Gold Medal in the 200 meter run. Congratulations Tyrone !!!! ...............State Runner-ups included Tyrone Elix, Chris Rangel. D.J. Robinson and Krision Ayers in the 800 meter relay and Shawn Clark in the 3200 meter run. Congratulations to all............We had several other placers, so congrats to the Bearcats you represented us well!!!!!!.........Congratulations to John Gelnar, Hobart Public Schools District Employee of the Month. John has been an employee of our school system since January of 2006. Twice this year John has had to assume extra responsibilities when two other custodians had to be out with illnesses. When asked to help out John never hesitated and always answered with "I'll do whatever needs to be done." We appreciate John and his attitude towards helping others in need!.................Congratulations to Jeff Coakley for being named OCA District 4 Junior High Coach of the Year and to Richard Carney for being named OCA District 4 High School Coach of the Year!! Way to go gentlemen, we are SO Proud of You both!!!!!!!!!!!.................................................................Congratulations Carly Nash for being selected to the High School Women's All State Choir! We are so proud of you................ Congratulations Dana Wald for being selected as Hobart District Teacher of the Year. Dana will go on to compete for Oklahoma Teacher of the Year. In addition, our students who graduate from the Hobart School District continue to be well prepared for post secondary and vocational education programs.

We recognize the importance of producing top-notch students who are able to compete with other students, and we know that a shared partnership between school and home must exist in order to fully reach the potential of this goal.
